Vision Statement (for how I will develop this portfolio after the course ends)

I plan to use this portfolio for admittance to a Ph.D. program for History. My plans to develop
the portfolio include adding my thesis paper and any additional historical research I do between
now and then.
I would like for this portfolio to represent my passion for History, and to indicate the progress I
have made in my research and writing skills. Also, I would like to add more historical research
writing to my portfolio to show how the two disciplines, Composition and History, differ in their
approach to writing, but also complement each other. Additionally, I would also like this
portfolio to show, somehow, my persistence in regard to my education.
