Free Palestine
The Israeli-Palestinian conflict is the ongoing struggle between Israeli and Palestinians
that began in the mid-20th century. Within the Israeli and Palestinian society, the conflict
generates a wide view of opinions. I believe racism still exists today and I believe that there is a
modern day holocaust occurring upon the Palestinian people caused by the Israeli Zionists which
are the Jews who believe they can turn Palestine into Israel as a state. Israel, as we know, does
not have a land to call their own. They are attacking Palestinian civilians, babies, women, and
men. They are bombing all hospitals, schools, and homes. Palestine does not have any weaponry,
military, or defense. How are they supposed to defend themselves from Israel who has the most
advanced technology, army, tanks, weapons, and is bombing them everyday? How are the
Palestinian people supposed to go to sleep at night thinking their safe in their own bed when
Israel is about to blow up their bedrooms any second and bulldoze their homes? How is one
supposed to say hi to someone knowing you may not see them in the next hour or day? The
media never shows the truth behind what really is happening. The Zionists are trying to take
away and occupy the Palestinian land the Palestinian people the same way Hitler tried to take
over and murder the Jews. Of course there are Jews who are against the Zionists trying to take
over Palestine, but no one is helping these innocent, helpless, Palestinians.
Almost all U.S aid to Israel is now the form of military assistance and economic aid. The
U.S aids Israel in weaponry but refused to aid Palestine with anything including hospitals and

educational buildings. Both Palestine and Israel have failed to reach a peace agreement. I know
some people who are starting a campaign to boycott Israel. That means they are not buying
anything that supports Israel such as Pepsi, Mcdonalds, Starbucks, Kitkat, Loreal, etc. I am a
Palestinian protestor against the inhuman murderous crimes that Israel commits everyday. All I
want is for my family and fellow Palestinians in Palestine is to be safe and live in peace. I
believe in peace in humanity and I do not believe that this is a fair war. Its a genocide.
I came across a photo of a very tall wall on the left side, launching hundreds of Israeli
missiles to the right side with a speech bubble of them saying Were just defending
ourselves! On the right there is the defenseless Palestinian ground thats on fire being sent from
the Israeli side. This picture is very powerful and explains to me the truth behind this conflict and
is happening silently everyday.
Another photo I came across was a an Israeli soldier pointing his gun at a Palestinian
mother and her children. This had me thinking who would ever want to harm a mother and her
children? What if it was the soldiers mother a Palestinian was aiming his gun at? How would he
like it? Seeing stuff like this makes me so mad because most people blame Middle Eastern
people for being terrorists when all they are trying to do is survive against the hatred and
racism they deal with!
This whole conflicts affects me because I am Palestinian and Jordanian. The only reason
why I am Jordanian is because my grandparents got illegally forced out of Palestine and had to
migrate towards Jordan which is the border. When you need to have hundreds of protests just to
tell the world that bombing children is not ok, that is when you know humanity has failed.
