Barta
Stories
of

Of

and
of
the

David
Of
heroes
and
lovers,
of
fools
and
the
wise,
Quests,
comedies,
and
questions
And

Barta
Truth

us

And
even
across

We

another!
David
We

the
imagined
from
the

And

our

precious

again

There
is
only
one
constant
in
life,
and
that
is
change.
Work
and
rest,
love
and
loneliness,
hardship
and
joy,
these
all
ebb
and
flow
through
time.
How
then
to
tell
these
stories
to
the
young
ones
whose
reality
is
only
the
bright
present?
David
Posture,
gesture,
rhythm,
music!
Dancers
can
carry
the
tales,
whether
about
village
fishermen
working
the
river,
couples
joyously
courting
,or
darkly
dramatic
entertainers
romancing
the
crowd
in
a
caf.
Barta
Young
ones
will
divine
pride
of
their
heritage,
if
only
we
will
tell
the
tales.

Stories
cross
and
re-cross
culture,
place
and
time,
reflecting,
refracting
and
reinventing
themselves.
David
And
though
stories
may
be
of
long
ago
and
far
away,
the
magic
is
that,
nevertheless
,
we
tend
to
find
ourselves
within
them.
Barta
A
magical
kiss
is
at
the
heart
of
countless
courtship
tales.
And
many
a
story
concludes
with
and
they
danced
and
danced
into
the
night.
And
then
theres
the
tale
of
the
supernatural,
warning
children
to
behave
or
the
monster,
goblin,
or
witch
will
get
you
if
you
dont
watch
out.!

One
thing
is
for
sure.
Children
love
stories
because
a
story
feels
like
play
to
them.
Especially
stories
of
fantasy,
and
stories
of
heroes,
real
and
imagined.
Barta
But
there
is
magic
in
the
stories
of
the
everyday,
and
how
we
react
to
the
opportunity
for
joy
right
in
the
here
and
now.
Lets
not
forget
to
tell
those
stories!

When
words
fail,
humans
find
another
way.
So
our
stories
can
be
found
in
the
food
we
offer,
the
art
we
make,
the
music
we
sing
and
play
and
the
dances
we
dance.
Barta
During
the
holidays,
especially,
we
share
all
these
expressions
of
the
stories
we
have
to
tell
and
do
tell
with
wit,
delight,
energy,
and
exuberance!
