articles/references.
Submission:
o Hardcopy of the report is required
o Softcopy report, all downloaded articles (references), turnitin report and
presentation file (in powerpoint) in a CD
o Softcopy (report only in words file) to be uploaded in the spectrum
(Assignment tab)
Presentation may be required the final week of lectures.

Task:
1. You are required to discuss and provide an academic report on the river sedimentation
issue in Malaysia. The content of the report should cover but not limited to the
following:
a. Definition or literature study on the river sedimentation
b. Is river sedimentation a problem in Malaysia?
c. Prevention/Solving methods to the current problems (If any)
2. You can narrow your scope of study but it must be under our main topic, which is the
River Sedimentation. You need to give a title to your report. The title could be
something interesting but must describe the contents of the report.
3. The report to be written in academic writing style, which include:
a. Cover page
b. Table of content
c. Introduction (background, problem statement, objectives, etc)
d. Analysis and conclusion
e. References (minimum of 10 references)
f. Appendix (if necessary)

To be submitted no later by Friday 12th December 2014.
