COURSES
Although there are no requirements to take any courses for any category of certification, NACE
International Headquarters, NACE International Areas and Sections, and other organizations
sponsor courses which persons preparing for certification examinations may find helpful. The
primary purpose of the NACE International courses, conferences and symposia is to impart
knowledge in the areas addressed by the courses and not necessarily to prepare persons for the
examinations. Successful completion of any course does not guarantee successful completion of
any certification open-book examination, and the examinations given at the courses are not
applicable in any way toward any certification examination, with the exceptions of those courses
mentioned throughout this guide for parallel path to Corrosion Technician, Corrosion Technologist
and Senior Corrosion Technologist.
For further information on NACE International courses, contact the NACE International
Membership Services Department.
