PREFACE

A branch of mechanics studying

the effectsof forces on rigid and

deformable bodies. It is usually treated under two heads Statics and Kinematics. It
is called the dynamics.
Afluid said to be Incompressible when the density of an element of fluid is not
affected by changes in the pressure.
Fluid dynamics is essentially the study of gases and liquids in motion. It involves
calculating various properties of a particular fluid such as its velocity, pressure,
temperature and density.
Fluid dynamics has a wide range of applications, including calculating forces and
moments on aircraft, determining the mass flow rate of petroleum through
pipelines, predicting weather patterns, understanding nebulae in intersteller space
and reportedly modeling fission weapon detonation. Some of its principles are
even used in traffic engineering, where traffic is treated as a contiuous fluid.
Other Applications are as follows:

Aerodynamics
Fluid power
Hydraulic machinery
Meteorology
Naval architecture
Oceanography
Plasma physics
Pneumatics
3D computer graphics

In this dissertation , we allow piecewise smooth density with arbitrarily large jump
discontinuities and no vaccum in [a,b], then get the global existence and
uniqueness. To obtain the lower bound on the density function.

We derive a priori upper bound for from the energy estimates. We give a
decay result for the density as t .we find particularly in closing the required
energy estimates, understanding rates of regularization near the initial layer,
obtaining time independent pointwise bounds for the density.
In this Dissertation contains four chapters.
In Chapter I, we have presented some basic definitions which we require in
the successive chapters.
In Chapter II, we discuss some important theorems on the uniform upper and
lower bound for density function.
In Chapter III, we discuss closing the estimates for a andpointwise bounds
for .
At the last, a list of bibliography needed to prepare this Dissertation is added.
