This IT programme turns problem-solvers into skilled PC builders, data defenders
and cloud controllers. Designed to give school and college leavers a strong technical
grounding combined with mentoring and assessment in the workplace, this is the best
start to an IT career.
We teach and assess these skills to industry standards ensuring they are applied on the job:
Operating systems
Server administration Customer Support
Networking
Security
After 9 - 12 months each apprentice will be a skilled technician with the option to
achieve Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP) status.

Key qualifications

Entry requirements
5 standard grades (Level 1 - 3)
including Maths and English

Apprenticeship

Working towards Microsoft Certified Professional status. Units include:

MCP in Windows 8 or Windows 7 Configuration
Interconnecting Cisco Networking Devices Part 1 (version 2)
Diploma for Information Technology and Telecommunications
Professionals SCQF Level 6
