It is with great pleasure that I write this recommendation for Allison Hood to be
considered for the position within your school. I supervised Allison at Georgia Southern
University as she served as our Major Gifts Officer for at the time, Allen E. Paulson
College of Science and Technology.
Allisons qualities and characteristics as an individual are those that you would want on
your team. Her can-do attitude is contagious and she is very positive as she interacts with
colleagues and students.
During her time at Georgia Southern, Allison exhibited solid work ethics by reaching
deadlines and hitting benchmarks for fundraising. Allison was able to accomplish this
while she furthered her education and pursued her Masters Degree in Instructional
Technology.
It came as no surprise when Allison wanted to pursue her passion for teaching in the
classroom. It is also no surprise, as I have kept in touch that students respond to her
method and style of instruction.
Allison is a conscientious and dependable employee. I have found her to always be
receptive and willing to lend a hand, and go the extra mile when given a task.
I have no doubt that Allison will be an asset to anything she puts her mind to. Please give
