The school plans and coordinates with the DENR-CENRO Cebu City to
conduct mangrove propagule planting on September 20, 2014.
The activity will be participated by 132 teachers and 5 non-teaching
staff. The mangrove area of Barangay Day-as, Cordova, Cebu has been
chosen as the site for tree planting in consideration of accessibility and
distance of which the school has already tapped local officials of that
barangay for the upcoming event.
Cebu City government has afforded the school with a kashioung bus to
ferry the tree planters and their conveyance thereof.
