Follow up Clinic Nurse Liaison

Provide medical assessment and treatment to victims of sexual assault and domestic
violence, collection of forensic evidence including digital and colposcopic forensic
photography, documentation of findings and sexual assault history. Work in concert with
medical staff, district attorneys, law enforcement, crisis support agencies, child and adult
protective services, and other entities involved in the continuum of care. Provide legal
testimony when needed. Provide sexual assault services within the Metropolitan
Detention Center, Make follow up calls to all patients served at Albuquerque SANE,
provide therapeutic communication, crisis management and make referrals when
necessary. Also conduct in-office appointments for sexual assault survivors including
follow-up photos, medications, immunizations, crisis intervention and pregnancy testing.
November 2013-present, Contractor Hubert Allen and Associates, Contractor NM
Department of Health, Lead Educator for Vaccines for Children Pharmacy Program
Conduct site visits with Vaccines for Children providers, provide NMSIIS trainings,
provide provider specific immunization trainings including CHILI (Childhood
Immunization Learning Initiative), provide support and education to immunization
providers across the state, Provide CHILI and immunization training to educational
institutions, pharmacies, as well as the NM Pharmacists Association

Staff RN in 60 bed Level III Newborn ICU. Care of critically ill neonates and infants
including the use of advanced life support, ventilatory support, end-of life care, and

Completed training to become vaccination resource to providers and vaccine educator to
all immunizing clinics within the region, including responses for obscure vaccine
Questions. Conducted site audits and on site education; Clinical lead in several
community based immunization clinics included influenza vaccination clinics and back to
school immunization clinics, trained providers on NMSIIS and educated regarded early
childhood vaccination initiatives, participated as vaccinator in county infectious disease
response team. Duties as Refugee Health Public Health Nurse include immunization
administration, review of foreign immunization records and practices, work with trauma
survivors, physical exam and health history for newly arrived refugees, Sexually
transmitted disease screening and treatment, TB screening and treatment, Harm
Reduction (needle exchange) provider, completed training in HIV, STD, Suicide
