Objective
Obtain a challenging creative director or equivalent position in a dynamic work environment that will capitalize on my ability to
rapidly establish a rapport, foster a deepening dialogue about an organization or customers goals and vision and develop
thoughtful solutions that produce real, measurable results. I am seeking to become a key player in an organization that values
excellence in design, robust interpersonal, analytic and problem solving skills, as well a capacity to learn, synthesize and share
information. Ultimately, I look forward to playing a direct role in the scoping and achievement of meaningful enterprise
objectives using my skills as a design and communication professional.
Summary
A Creative Director with more than 20 years experience conceptualizing, developing and delivering successful branding
campaigns inclusive of print, packaging, virtual and environmental strategies for both consumer products and service-oriented
organizations. I am committed to the idea that good design should communicate effectively, and that messaging is delivered
consistently using each design element. And moreover, that good designers should be able to make design decisions with a
rational that can be clearly articulated.
While my skill as a visual communicator is on display in my portfolio, I also have excellent interpersonal and business
communication skills. I enjoy engaging others in the design process: by working with clients to bring their ideas and goals into
focus, and then realizing those goals by creating impactful, visual branding strategies that resonate with target audiences. I am
similarly enthusiastic about collaborating with and mentoring others on my team. I have extensive experience leading groups,
and in guiding the design process, producing final designs of exceedingly high quality, while educating senior designers,
production staff and clients in the process.
My work has been regularly praised for achieving the elusive goal of growing a successful brand or advancing a mission while
containing production costs for my clients. My forward thinking business sense has been credited by clients for keeping them
from painting themselves into a corner. Additionally, I have an extensive network of relationships with printing and
production professionals, and am constantly seeking to leverage new technologies to enhance a clients efficiency in delivering
