ORIGINALITY ASSESSMENT ENGINE

This is an online tool developed for this class designed to exercise your creativity.
It builds your ability to rapidly develop many ideas and develop creative fluency,
so that you can think past the most obvious ideas to discover more innovative ones.

Each week you will find a link to the OAE

under Activities and Exercises. You will
only be able to access the tool through the
CPS Coursera site here. Click the link and
login with your email to start the exercise,
as seen below.

You will have 90 seconds to complete the

exercise: a random image will be shown
and your goal is to list as many uses as
possible for the object in the image.

time you will be shown a random image. It is beneficial to you if
you complete the exercise at least once a week, so you can see
how your creativity improves over the course of seven weeks.

at a time). When the time is up your list of
ideas will be emailed to you. Your ideas
will also be recorded so we can track your
improvement in generating a high number of
ideas over time.
