Develop, create, and modify general computer
applications software or specialized utility programs.
You must analyze user needs and develop software
solutions. Design software or customize software for
client use with the aim of optimizing operational
efficiency. You may analyze, design databases within an
application area, working individually or coordinating
database development as part of a team. May supervise
computer programmers.

What I learned about the video is that without Software
engineers there would be no computers, and may have
to work evenings or weekends to meet deadlines. Also,
they should have a strong grasp of mathematics and the
ability to follow very detailed instructions.
