    The Soociety of Registered and Assistant Medical Officers Union would like to bring your kind
    attention regarding the DRUG ACT recently approved by the Cabinet. We would like to
    suggest the following amendments, which will facilitate and protect our members Professional
    rights.

    1- Prescribing Officers Interpretation Part VIII Section 146


    According to the new DRUG ACT the prescribing officers are described as Registered Medical
    Practitioners, Dentist, Veterinary Surgeon. We suggest to amend this closure as follows:

    A Medical Practitioner means a person registered as a Medical Practitioner under Section


    29 And Section 41 of Part V of Chapter 105 of Medical Ordinance
