Happy March.. Will this winter ever end?

Heres what we are working on in

the classroom!
Language Arts: We are starting to
work on informational writing and
reading. Students will become an expert
on a subject. They will learn what makes a
good non-fiction book/article and soon
how to write an informational story.

Math: In math we just started Unit 6.

This unit covers geometry. Keep

practicing those multiplication facts. To
be successful, your child must practice
facts at home and turn in their mad
minute sheets daily. A minimum of 2 per
week in required. The mad minutes are
part of their weekly homework. In
order to be secure for this time of
the year they should be through their 8s.
