Description of how to implement in the class: The teacher will introduce the
activity by creating a Kidspiration this Kidspiration will be an all about Mrs. Anns
students. The teacher then will ask each student to come up to the Interactive
Whiteboard, and write one unique thing about themselves on Kidspiration. They will
began to experience and gain knowledge on how to use Kidspiration. This
introductory level activity will engage the students in learning about their classmates
and Kidspiration.
The teacher will move to a room so each student can access a computer. The
students will be creating an all about me using Kidspiration. The students will use a
pre made spreadsheet which includes a guide in their thinking. The students will have
to add text/pictures into the pre made document. This will give the students an
appropriate level of technology to use.
The students will then finish the all about me and print it out. The teacher will allow
the students to cut out the pictures with their information and glue it onto
construction paper. Allowing the students to get art out of the assignment. The
teacher then will take all the finished projects and hang them up outside their
classroom.
Level of Technology Implementation (LoTi): This activity remains at a level three
on the LoTi levels. This activity is at level three because it is infused with technology.
With this assignment, it is hard to push the LoTi level up, because this is such an
introduction activity, guest speakers wouldnt come, there wont be discovery. One
way we can move the LoTi level up is to start a pen pal with another student, maybe
even from across the world. This activity could be the starting message your students
would send.

Other comments about your proposed BBPT Activity: The Kidspiration activity
can easily be extended to support higher levels of thinking and higher LoTi levels. It
can be an easy and beneficial activity that will allow for your students to be engaged
in their work. They will try their best on this activity because it will show their
independence.
