Preventive Action
A joint inspection was organised on 16.04.2009 with DJB officials
and our Engineers for a selection of good quality of aggregate and
Double washed sand at Yamuna Nagar and Punchkulla. The Various
tests and trials were conducted at source itself and finally good
quarries were selected for good quality of material.
All new masons, carpenters, fabricators and welders are given
time to time a brief training in their respective area of work to
execute the work as per standards and specifications.

Reinforcement bars in yard are kept on raised platform to protect them from
corrosion & rusting
Nito bond is used at junction of old concrete for proper bonding of fresh concrete
with already set concrete
Foam is used at the joints of Form work to avoid any leakage of slurry and give a
better concrete surface free from honey combing etc.
Selection of sand quarry source was established in the beginning of the project
along with the DJB officials to get good quality double washed coarse sand.
Concrete MIX Design was conducted with four different sources of cement to
produce the concrete with alternate cemnt brand incase of unavailability of any
particular brand of cement. This ensure the undisturbed production of conrete
