Dear Sir or Madam,

I am hereby applying for entrance to Pop departement (singer-songwriter) at the Codarts

university of arts for the school year 2015-2016.
First of all I would like to present some background about myself. My name is Christian Forgac,
currently from historic city Presov also called "Slovak Seattle" because many Slovak popular bands
and singers raised there. Since my early years the question of my future studies and then a
profession was very important question to me. Therefore at the age of 14, when found out what I
want to do my entire life. I had an opportunity to change something, I move to Netherland with my
family to study languages. Since I moved there with my family, I had to adapt myself for the new
culture and language as quick as possible, so my knowledge of English language and little bit Dutch
helped me a lot. I found myself in music as a songwriter, and after repeated move to my hometown
I found myself as a quick learner in singing and guitar. Further more it wasnt a problem for me to
study music in my native language.
During my high school studies on business academy in my hometown.I float a school band and
joined free time centre for study acoustic guitar and singing. This allowed me to develop and use
my skills on a stage and also in communication with audience.
When I successfully graduate high school, I do not want to stop on what I achieved on Slovakia,
but to continue my undergraduate studies in a respected European University such as Codarts.
In conclusion I would like to say that I like to take responsibility of my work and to work with a
group. I think that Im teachable and Im eager to gain new experiences and in my opinion this
program is the best way to achieve the fittest knowledges Im in interest to study. Its international
aspect and very high standard of education encounters different students from various countries,
so the interaction during the study is very enriching and exactly what I am looking for. I am
positive that the Codarts university of arts an excellent start for an ambitious music career.
