Procedure: Introduction: Students will be given a short paragraph with errors. They will be asked to read the paragraph to themselves. Development: Students will be asked to review and correct the errors using the appropriate editing symbols on their own paper. Summary: Once students have corrected their paragraph on their paper, I will pull up the same paragraph on the promethean board. I will call students one by one to come up to the board to write their corrections. We will have a class discussion about if the correction is correct or not, and why this correction makes sense in the paragraph. Materials Editing paragraph Pencils Promethean board Evaluation Part A: I will informally evaluate which students are participating in correcting the editing sheet to see which students are finding the errors. I will only call on students once so that all students have the opportunity to participate. Evaluation Part B: Did the students meet your objectives?

Did your lesson accommodate/address the needs of all your
learners?
What were the strengths of the lesson?
What were the weaknesses?
How would you change the lesson if you could teach it again?
