After Rinse Pump

Plot 1 shows the enveloped spectras from the motor bearings of this unit.
As can be seen, the spectra from point 1 shows a much higher level of activity with peaks
above the alarm limit of 0.5 G's. The spectra shows multiple harmonics of approximately 20
Hz. which is a bearing cage frequency.
The amplitude and characteristics of the spectra suggest that the bearing is in an advanced
stage of deterioration and it is recommended that the motor should be removed and
overhauled as soon as possible.

No. 2 Paint Pump

Plot 2 shows the enveloped spectras from both motor bearings of this unit.
These are examples of healthy spectras and are included for comparison to those shown for
the After Rinse Pump. There is evidence of slight bearing activity shown by the peaks above
the 'carpet' level, however, these are at insignificant levels.
At this time no action is required, however, it is recommended that caution should be observed
until the next survey is carried out.
