Hello

My name is Laura Garcia, I am a social worker, I have twelve years work

experience, in a Health Hospital level and I have given class in a high school
materials related to Social Sciences.
I like my profession, because through it, I can help people who are experiencing
social problems, such as drugs, violence, delinquency, discrimination, among
others.
I believe that we are social and not individual subjects, however you can see the
individuality in our country, and that this has resulted in problems that have affected
the population, hence, I think now more than ever, we must recognize we need the
help of other beings, to achieve a common good.
I think social work is the right profession, because routes people who understand
the social reality they are living and that this enables them to make appropriate
decisions for their welfare.
Story with refresher courses and I have some knowledge they computer programs.
Currently I'm studying English, because I consider it essential for reading, social
research which exist in this language, and that will help me expand my theoretical
framework.
I consider myself a responsible person with the skills and abilities to
desempearme as a social worker.
