Tournament Details
The Sandpiper Spring Series Open is an 18-Hole Order of Merit
stroke play Championship for male and female
Professionals and Amateurs (0-18 index).
Order of Merit (OOM) points will be awarded in each
category of membership (Professional & Amateur
Full Field Size: 100 players Championship, Flight A, B and C). Both the
Professional Purse: $7,000 (based on 50 Pros). Professional OOM and Amateur OOM’s will be based
First place: $1,400. Top 33% payout on the following point system for this event:

Amateur Payout: Top Gross Scores in 1st Place: 1500 pts 11 place: 200 pts

Championship Flight and Flight A win prizes. Top 2nd Place: 1100 pts 12 place: 180 pts

Gross and net in Flight B & C win prizes. 3rd Place: 900 pts 13 place: 160 pts
th
4th Place: 800 pts 14 place: 140 pts

5th Place: 700 pts 15 place: 120 pts
Eligibility 6th Place: 600 pts

16 place: 100 pts

Open to all male and female Professionals and 7th Place: 500 pts 17 place: 80 pts

Amateurs 0-18. Priority will be given to players in the 8th Place: 400 pts 18 place: 60 pts

Preferred Membership category. Basic members are 9th Place: 300 pts 19 place: 40 pts

eligible to play when field size is not full at time of 10th Place: 250 pts 20 place: 20 pts

SRIXON BALL BONUS:
A total of $500 in bonus money is available for the
top VGT Professional endorsing the SRIXON BALL.
at the end of the 2010 season.

Course Details
Canadian golf course designer Russ Olsen has done
an amazing job of taking advantage of the
spectacular blue-green water and mountain vistas
that surround Sandpiper Golf Club. This spectacular
resort-style course provides golfers with constant
variety and varying degrees of difficulty with
breathtaking views. The par 72 course runs 6,500
yards from the black tees.
