The true expression of a photographer is to have his or her


work in a photo book. It is the most difficult and the most
frustrating, and it is probably dunned to failure. In a sense, it
can never be right and there will always be regards, so there is
a great deal of anxiousness attached to it.

Jennilee Marigomen is a Canadian photographer whose work investigates everyday
phenomenon. In 2010, she was the recipient of The Magenta Foundations Flash Forward
Emerging Photographer Award. In 2011, she released her first book, Seconde Nature with
Paris based Je Suis une Bande de Jeunes, which has been added to the Artist Book
Collection at the MoMA Library. She currently lives in Vancouver, where she is the Photo
Editor of the online publication, 01 Magazine.

Tanja Nis-Hansen (b. 1988) is a danish artist working and studying at the Academy of Fine
Arts, Vienna. She is working in several artistic fields with her main focus on video and
painting. At the moment she is in the middle of making a project around the production of her

Julio Costa is a visual artist based in Porto Alegre, Brazil. He works with new media,
audiovisual content, live video edition and VJ performances. He is a researcher and teacher
in the field of art and technology. He collaborates at Fortress to Solitude Project,
launched last year in New York.
