9 Feb. 2015. Web. 15 Mar. 2015. <http://www.lgbtqnation.com/tag/gay-marriage/>.
This website is a news source for all things that have to do with LGBT. There are many
contributors to this website. The website also has the option for others to contribute,
but all must be approved. It is not like Wikipedia where anyone can add to the
website. All news stories are verified.
2.Gay Marriage ProCon.org." ProConorg Headlines. N.p., 4 Mar. 2015. Web. 15 Mar. 2015.
This website is a great resource to use. It is a non-profit public charity website, that
educates pros and cons of controversial issues without bias. Steven C. Markoff is the
chairman of the website; Jeffrey Hendricks, Steven Jacobson and Natalie Leppard
are the researchers for the site. Of course this particular controversial argument is
gay marriage. This webpage presents the question Should Gay Marriage Be
Legal? then presents 15 pro reason why it should be legal and 13 con reasons why
it should not be legal. An example of a pro is, denying some people the option to
marry is discriminatory and creates a second class of citizens. And a con is, The
institution of marriage has traditionally been defined as being between a man and
woman. This source will be used soley for facts on homosexuality and the LGBT
community.

This reference was from the Sinclair library online. I love this reference because it talks
about Gay Pride. It gives the background on how the tradition of the Gay Pride
parade started; from the stonewall riots to the first gay pride march. Many young
people this day and age do not realize that the gay community had to fight for the
little freedom they have today. This resource will be used for history background.

This reference is a good read. I also got this reference from the Sinclair library online.
This reference talks about the debate over gay marriage, or same-sex marriage. It
talks about the history involving the Christian church with their biblical censure of
homosexuality as a justification for what they believe in. It also talks about todays,
current, situation on same-sex marriage. Even though Americans are still split on
the decision, are we moving forward? This resource will be used for history and
political standings for same-sex marriage.

This is a very interesting reference. This website talks about several things referring to
homosexuality. The focus is general mental health of a homosexual. In the middle
ages, psychologists actually defined homosexuality as unnatural, doctor thought
that it was a mental disorder. This reference gives historical background on religious
beliefs and psychological views of homosexuality. I will be using ths source to give
background on some of the history of homosexuality.
6."HRC's Marriage Center." Human Rights Campaign. N.p., 2011. Web. 15 Mar. 2015.
The website is the human rights webpage; specifically for the LGBT community. This
organization is the largest civil rights organization working to achieve equality for
all lesbians, gay, bisexual, and transgender Americans. The HRC has more that
1.5million members and supporters. This website has blogs. These blogs are a good
resource to keep up to date with LGBT news. The website also offers support
resources for the gay community; for example adoption information for same sex
couples, laws about hates crimes by states, and LGBT groups for young adults.
7."IS THE BIBLE AGAINST HOMOSEXUALITY?" IS THE BIBLE AGAINST
HOMOSEXUALITY? N.p., n.d. Web. 15 Mar. 2015.
This by far is my favorite of all the resources that I have used in my research thus far.
This website discusses homosexuality in the bible. The big debate over gay marriage
is that it is against what is in the bible. This website not only quotes verses from the
bible, but it also explains what God was saying. There is a term called, eunuch
and there are three different definitions of a eunuch; 1. A man who would not have
sex for religious purposes, and entered a monastery. 2. A man who was castrated to
work in harem. 3. A man who was born with feminine traits, and had no sexual
interest in women. I will be using this reference for my one of my religois resources.
