Meagan Glowa

DearSir/Madame,
I am a fourth year co-op student completing the Bachelor of Environmental Studies degree
program at the University of Manitoba and I believe I can be an asset to your Team.
I am completing my degree with a focus area in Sustainable Development and am well versed
and personally interested in an integrated industry approach to increase environmental
protection, financial growth, and social wellbeing. As you will note in the enclosed materials I
have a wide breadth of experience in the waste management sector including the volunteer
position at The Recycling/Waste Prevention Office at The University of Manitoba where I
participated in various tasks such as sorting through recyclables and performing Waste Audits to
assess recycling habits on campus. Various courses in my degree program also supplement this
knowledge of waste auditing and logistics such as Sustainable Manitoba and various
Environmental Science courses.
I have experience in professional teamwork environments from past and current retail jobs and
from working as a part of the Urban Green Team at Assiniboine Park as a Forest Steward. Lastly,
I am a student chapter member in MEIA, am very comfortable with Microsoft Office programs
and I fulfill the qualification of returning to studies next year to finish my degree.

Respectfully yours,

Meagan Glowa
