with the ministry of Ontario, taking patient calls, providing information to patients regarding labs, lab
work, x-ray facilities, calling emergency services such as police and EMT.
Duties Included: prioritizing emergent patients, complete set of vital signs on patients, dressing
changes, abscess packing, injections (IM, SC, ID), specimen testing (throat swabs, urinalysis, wart
treatments, suture removal, staple removal, ECG's, ear irrigation, assistant physicians
with procedures and exams, helping to stabilize unstable patients while waiting for transport, providing
health teaching and information regarding women's health clinics, translating for non-English speaking
patients.
