Each year, around 9 million children die from preventable
and treatable illnesses before reaching
their fifth birthday.
Many die during their first year of life.

1) Take Zinc and Folic Acid supplements
2) Obtain prenatal care

3) Eat iron rich foods


4) Use a skilled birth attendant
5) Wrap baby in blankets after birth
6) Breastfeed exclusively the first 6 months
