Lesson Objectives
I will reteach for students who do not understand. I will use my students who have mastered
the material as my helpers and students who are not proficient in English, I will use visuals
and speak clearly for them. will I vary these objectives for students who are presently
learning English?
Statement of Purpose
It is important for students to know the phases of the moon and how it is effected by Earths
location.
What materials and supplies are needed to help your students achieve the stated

Students will work in groups of 8 to complete the eight phases of the moon using oreo
cookies and stand in order at the front of the class to explain.
How will I conclude the lesson and relate it to future experiences? How will you wrap up
the lesson to reinforce concepts taught during the lesson?
I will close by having the students look at the moon each evening and post what they saw
on the bulletin board each morning.
What will students do to demonstrate what they have learned?
The assignment will be to look at the moon for the next seven nights and give me a brief
description of what you see by creating a powerpoint of the pictures kept.
