Life taken
The tears my mother cried when she lost her child, sitting next to a
girl who was ready to let her baby die. Yes abortion can be controversial. Yes
abortion can be controversial, and many women get it because theyre not
ready or some women want an abortion because it was a rape. A pregnancy
might be a mistake but there isnt an excuse on why we should take an
innocent life away.
The greatest destroyer of a peace today is abortion because it is a
war against the child a direct killing of the innocent child murder by the
mother herself-Mother Teresa. Abortion is seen as a murder because it is
taking the life of a baby who is defenseless and innocent. Although people
say that a fetus doesnt have a soul/life until the eight weeks, it has been
proven that a baby has a life starting at the moment of conception. After
fertilization has taken place a new human being has come into being (Dr. L
Jeune). This quote states that new life dosents begin at the 8 weeks of
pregnancy, or that new life begins when they breathe for the first time, but
instead life begins at the moment of fertilization/conception. If abortion being
a murder is seen be the point of view of a catholic or Christian one of the
amendments states thou shall not kill. An abortion goes against our
Declaration Of Independence because of our 3 Natural Rights which say we
have the right of Life, liberty and pursuit of happiness.(Jefferson) A
baby/fetus has a soul and a life, and he/she has the right to life and we
have no right to kill.

There isnt really an excuse to hit someone we just dont like, so then
what gives us the right to kill a baby that we dont want. Point is if you are a
teen who made the mistake of having sex and getting pregnant, there is no
excuse to make your baby pay by killing him/ her. In the year of 2007 there
were nearly 1,609,000 abortions from girls 15-19 years old. Most of those
girls were just girls who didnt want to be a mother at a young age. Is that a
reasonable excuse, no! its not. In the year of 2010 more than 3,456 fetuses
were aborted because they were babies with Down syndrome.
(Jennings)worldwide 205 million abortions accrue. The mothers of all those
babies, what was there excuse? Oh I dont want my baby because he/she
wont be normal its still not an acceptable excuse because that baby
even if he had autism he couldve become someone special in life if he had
the chance. Now one of the strongest topics is that what if it was a rape.
Could that be a justified excuse? Well, no because there isnt any exception
to killing. If the pregnancy happened because it was a rape, that baby will
comfort you; he/she will thank you for loving him and giving him the chance.

Some may argue that abortion can be justified but I believe that
abortion shouldnt even be a choice. My mother lost her baby last year and
as she was in the clinic she sat next to a 17 year old who was on her phone
laughing while she was having her conversation, she was 17 and pregnant
and she was there waiting to have an abortion. My mother would have done
anything to have that baby that was about to get killed. Nearly 1.2 million
women had an abortion in the U.S.( Guttmacher Institut) About 1 million
mothers in the U.S have a miscarriage a year and lose their baby.

My argument is that abortion doesnt have an excuse; its never
justified and most of all its a murder. Abortion isnt a very safe thing to do it
doesnt just cause regretion but it can also harm you physically. Abortion
goes against the natural right and the bible amendments. Final thought a

baby has a life but it is defenseless and at the moment that the abortion
happens for example with the vacuum aspiration, the baby cannot protect
himself from being torn up in pieces. The baby feels the pain, and all he/she
wants is protection from their own mother but their own mother is killing
him/her. Abortion is the definition of a mother carrying their own babys tomb
in their whom for life.
