WARM UP:
(Approximately 10 Minutes)
When students are finished changing into their gym clothes, have them walk around the
perimeter of the gym.
When everyone is out and walking, have the class run five laps around the gym.
Next, choose two leaders to lead the class in stretches.

RELAY GAME:
(Approximately 20 Minutes)
Students will line up in their survivor tribes (six teams) on a line in the gym.
Explain to students that for the groups with four students, someone will have to go twice
to make it fair for the group of five.
Note: Before starting each round, say, SURVIVORS READY, GO!
Round One: One by one, students will have to crab-walk across the gym floor to the
other side, going around a pylon and then back to their team. When everyone has gone
(including the groups that need one person to go twice) they must all sit down.
Make note of the team that wins to give points to later.
Round Two: One by one, students will have to sit on a scooter and use their legs to get to
the other side and around the pylon, back to their team. When everyone has gone
(including the groups that need one person to go twice) they must all sit down.
Make note of the team that wins to give points to later.

Round Three: One by one, students will have to lay their stomach on a scooter and use
their hands to maneuver to the other side of the gym, around the pylon, and back to their
team. When everyone has gone (including the groups that need one person to go twice)
they must all sit down.
Make note of the team that wins to give points to later.
Round Four: One by one, students will have to run across the gym and stand at their
pylon and do 20 jumping jacks before running back to their team. When everyone has
gone (including the groups that need one person to go twice) they must all sit down.
Make note of the team that wins to give points to later.

CHANGING/RETURNING TO CLASS:
(Approximately 10 Minutes)
Provide students with time to change and then have them line up before returning to
class.
