Human Travel and Extended Presence Space

As part of our study of air and space flight we have learn the basic forces that act on vehicle that travel
through the air; lift, thrust, drag, and weight or gravity, and how they are controlled but what happens
to vehicles as it leaves the earths atmosphere? How does it control its flight when air is almost
nonexistent and gravity is either not present or is greatly reduced. Today we will explore different those
question and others having to do with human traveling in space Answer the questions on this worksheet as you
read the articles in each web link you may print it when you have completed if you can or you may save it and
email it to Mr Welch once you have finnished at : hwelch @ northposey.k12.in.us
