Improvement of the IC-Bending-Process for wheel speed sensors according
to the guidelines of Bosch Production System (BPS) In a period in which upgrading old facilities and solutions on the market are extremely expensive, choosing and implementing solutions for these facilities is a real challenge for engineers. A new invest in newer technology isn`t always the only way to improve the performances of facilities, clear guidelines in logistics, production, planning etc. being needed so called production systems. This final thesis follows the implementation of lean production components from Bosch Production System (BPS), which have as a goal a much clear visualization of process improvements, - the continuous improvement process. It`s presented the context in which production system had appeared, their developing and the diversification of tools that are part of this systems, focusing especially on Bosch production system and implementation of BPS tools in the development of a new plant. Next step guides us on the road that follows the implementation of continuous improvement process in Bosch Rexroth Blaj. This part is divided in: determine which of the processes is a problem, data collect and analyze, choosing the best strategy and its implementation. With the help of statistical tools like capabilities and SPC and also management quality tool like Ysikawa diagram the problem of the process was determined, solved and the process improved. The subject of this work can be implemented immediately not just in Bosch, but in other plants and industries where the production and quality issues are searched to be solved by simple but intelligent methods.
