The hungry Sea Turtle

by: Alexandra Mercado & Jannies Casiano

In the light of the morning sun a

little egg lay on the sand.

One Sunday morning the warm sun came

up and - pop! - out of the egg came a tiny
and very hungry sea turtle.

She started to look for some food.

On Monday she ate one apple...

...but she was still very hungry.

On Tuesday she ate two pears...

...but she was still very hungry.

On Wednesday she ate three

plums...

...but she was still very hungry.

On Thursday she ate four

strawberries...

...but she was still very hungry.

On Friday she ate through

five oranges but he was
still very hungry.

On Friday she ate through

five oranges but he was
still very hungry.

On Saturday she ate

one piece of chocolate cake,

one ice cream cone,

one pickle,

one slice of Swiss cheese,

one slice of salami,

one lollipop,

one piece of cherry pie,

one sausage,

one cupcake

and one slice of watermelon.

That night she had a

stomach-ache!

The next day was Sunday again.

The sea turtle ate through one nice seaweed,
and after that she felt much better.

Now she wasnt hungry any more - and she wasnt a

little sea turtle any more. She was a big, fat grown up
sea turtle.

She was all an adult and it was time to come

back home to the shore to lay their eggs on
sandy beaches during the nesting season.

And that way she can spread the sea turtle

family.
