K.W.2 Use a combination of drawing and labeling to compose short informational texts
to name what they are writing about and supply some information about the topic.
K.W.7 Remember information about experiences or gather information from various
sources (e.g., word wall, book talks, weather charts, routine tasks) to answer a
question.
Phase: Exploration
Objective:

Identify the five senses.


Describe objects through the senses.

Vocabulary:
Sight, Hearing, Taste, Smell and Touch.
Materials:
Worksheets, crayons, pencils, technology, music, picture, objects and boxes.

Greeting
Initial activity:
Students will review the senses with a picture file PowerPoint. Then will sing a song
about the theme. The name of the song is Five senses.
Development activity:

Students will create a little book about the five senses.


Closing activity:

Students will identify objects classified in different boxes using the five senses.
Homework:

Bring one (1) picture that identify each sense.


Observation:

The students will have the knowledge of the five senses and they will be able to identify
correctly.
