classroom at Thomas Jefferson Elementary School during the fall semester of 2014.
During this time, Ms. Jones further developed her skills and abilities in the art of teaching
young learners. Please note the following strengths:
Professional Characteristics:
Ms. Jones consistently conducted herself appropriately. She was warm and caring
towards students and frequently sought opportunities to further develop her performance.
She was always receptive to and appreciative of suggestions.
Instructional Skills:
Ms. Jones was always well planned and prepared to teach. She selected developmentally
appropriate activities, created any necessary materials for Kindergarteners, and was
proficient with technologically enhanced lessons.
Classroom Management:
Ms. Jones was competent in managing students. She was quick to recognize any off-task
behaviors and rapidly helped students to refocus.
Ms. Jones will be an excellent and enthusiastic elementary teacher. She has demonstrated
the characteristics and skills to perform all necessary duties. She is highly capable and
would be an asset to any elementary staff. Ms. Jones is the type of young educator I
would want my own children to have as their classroom teacher.
