Being a waitress at the Butchershop is a whole new level of waiting. Our awesome customers expect and deserve a
professional service, which is not always easy.
Working in a steakhouse required me to learn all the different cuts in order to be able to talk about them and sell
them to customers. This improved my communication and selling skills.
My multi-tasking skills, team-working skills and my ability of working under pressure were developed to a
whole new level due to the high expectations from us and the always busy restaurant.

OTHER ACTIVITIES:

Business Start-Up: (Current project) As part of a University project, we have to work

in a group of four. The main aim of the project is to start a business from the maximum of 40
pounds. This project helps to gain skills at marketing, bargaining, perfecting my ability to make a
SWOT analysis, work in a team and help to observe how to set prices to become competitive in a
given market.

Graduate Performance Management Program (GPMP): (Participated in the

autumn of 2013.) GPMP aims to show students how to assimilate to their first workplace. From this
course I learnt: better time management, how to work in a team with people I have met only the
exact same day, how to make priorities, self-evaluation and improving own personality based on
feedbacks. Furthermore, I improved my communication skills, both verbal and non-verbal.

Tourist Guidance: Before University I participated in a course for tourist guiding in English. It
helped me to be able to understand and apply the rules of etiquette, improve my communication
and my organization skills and helped me to understand the needs of customers from different age
groups.

Model United Nations: Participating twice in MUN conferences helped me to establish

good arguments and learn how to think critically and reasonably. It also taught me how to make
speeches and write resolutions, formal letters.

Organizing Ski trips: I have organized two ski trips in a row and I have already started to
plan the third. Organizing ski trips requires serious research and reconciliations. Also, as both times
previously I organized it for at least ten people which means handling a great amount of money and
lots of responsibility. As I am an energetic organizer who loves to take care of every detail,
organizing the trips did not cause me any trouble so far.

COMPUTER SKILLS

Great understanding of usage of Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Power

Point and Microsoft Access.
Ability to use Prezi, RStudio and SPSS.
Genuine interest in tools of social media.
