ExperimentalQuestion:
WhataretheoverlapsofotherdisorderswithinBipolarDisorder?
Background:
Bipolardisorder,alsoknownasmanicdepressiveillness,isabraindisorderthatcauses
unusualshiftsinmood,energy,activitylevels,andtheabilitytocarryoutdailytasks.Symptomsof
bipolardisordercanbesevere.Theyaredifferentfromthenormalupsanddownsthateveryonegoes

canleadfullandproductivelives.

posttraumaticstressdisorder(PTSD)andsocialphobia,alsocancooccurwithbipolardisorder.

Bipolardisordercancooccurwithattentiondeficithyperactivitydisorder(ADHD)aswell,whichhas
somesymptomsthatoverlapwithbipolardisorder,suchasrestlessnessandbeingeasilydistracted.

However,thesymptomsofADHDarepersistent,whereasthoseofbipolardisorderare
episodic.
Thefrontallobesareinvolvedinmotorfunction,problemsolving,spontaneity,memory,
