Dear Parent/Carer
Your child has been working very hard in maths and has been steadily improving since we introduced
our Closing the Gap home learning programme in January this year. For the final push, your child has
been given a maths past paper (paper 1 and paper 2) to complete at home. These should be done in
as close to exam conditions as possible, (no help, stick to the times, only use a calculator for the
calculator paper etc).
Your child then needs to attend a holiday revision session on Saturday 30th May at 10.00am 1.00pm
where we will go through the paper in detail and clear up any misunderstandings. Your child will then
be able to work to a focused and personalised plan for the last week of their maths revision.
Can we take this opportunity to remind parent/carers of the information that was sent out at Christmas,
all learners should have their own scientific calculator to bring to the exam in Monday 8th June.
We would also like to thank parents/carers for the continued support over the year and we wish your
child every success in the upcoming exams.
