What role did the military play in shaping the economy of Brazil?

The military ruled the Brazil for two decades. Wanted the economy growth
and started a huge project on the Amazon jungles, which resulted in the
economy to grow. Although the government froze wages and cut down on
the social programs. As the economy began to slow down, they started to
become a democracy, opening up the political system.
What were some of the positive benefits of one-party rule in Mexico?
They tried to help the life of the peasants and workers, trying to make
reforms that could help. Also new policies and programs were created and
labor rights were promoted. It helped Mexico to not fall back into another
economic or political crisis.

I believe that the Latin America military dictatorship have been bad for
the nations growth. The nations have suffered in an economic or political
crisis. And the standard of living has dropped and people are living in
poverty and it was increasing. The military has only been making things
worst for the nations. And causing them to end up in a crisis that they
have to be able to get out of. Also the military dictators often have people
protesting against their decision that they are making. Which sometime
the government critics are tortured or killed for whatever reason.
Although it ultimately lead to them becoming a democracy. But the Latin
nations still had suffered because of the military dictatorship that caused
the growth of nations to suffer.
