Program. The insight program has been implemented by UVIKIUTA since 2006
involving participants from Tanzania and Ireland. The program is aiming to tackle a
range of development challenges, including root cause of poverty, inequality, conflict
and climate change. Insight is an experiential learning program for adults to raise
awareness of political, environment, economic and social issues that affect people at
a local and global level.
The program will be implemented in three phases
1. Coast Region (8th to 26th June 2015)
2. Dar Es Salaam 28th June 17th July 2015/ Kilimanjaro 6th to 25th July 2015
3. Ireland ( 20th October to 15th November 2015)
Eligible Participants: a. Tanzanian citizen currently living in Tanzania b. 18 years and
above c. Available for the entire period of the Program d. In good health e.
Motivated, open-minded and flexible f. Interested in volunteerism g. Have
completed secondary school education (form 4) and above h. Knowledge and
Interest on various local, National, Regional and International issues interested
