Guitar and Piano instructor 2015 NHTunes Studio Manchester, NH
I am currently giving private guitar and piano lessons at a studio near my house in Manchester, NH. I teach
young students from age seven, to middle aged individuals. In these lessons I teach people to read music, gain
technical proficiency on their instrument, improvise, and practice ear training activities.
Long Term Substitute 2015 Seabrook Elementary School, School Administrative Unit 21
I was hired to substitute for the music teacher during a maternity leave. During this two month span I designed
and instructed classes for grades K-4 and taught band classes. Band instruments included trumpet, flute, and
percussion. In music classes I used guitar to accompany myself and the students while singing. Song selections
included classic rock, folk tunes, jazz standards, and popular music from today. Other activities include rhythm
reading, listening activities, song writing activities, instrument playing, improvising and dancing.

Teaching Internship 2014 Mast Way Elementary School, Oyster River School District, NH
I spent the fall semester interning full time in elementary and middle school music classes. My duties included
assisting the teachers in any way they needed, participating in class, leading activities, and designing a lesson
plan. In the elementary school I played guitar and sang with the students, designed composition projects,
presented listening activities, and lead instrumental activities including pitched and un-pitched percussion. In
the middle school band I participated in band class, gave assistance to individual students and on occasion
conducted the students. In general music class I assisted with the guitar class and led the guitar class. I also
assisted in the string instrument class and assisted with a piece in the winter concert.

I enjoy being active and on my feet and waking up early in the day. I love playing, listening and composing many
