End Of Course: Algebra 1
Throughout the year I put a great amount of effort in this class. There were times when I
didnt understand the material but I pushed myself to better understand the problems. Once I
understood it I was on top of my work and finished my work quickly. My grades reflect the effort
I put in algebra. In the first quarter I had a 101 (A+), and have maintained an A. I did have a
rough ending but my grade for the whole year is a 97 (A+).
As the year went on I made some progress. I think the first half of the year was better
than the last half. The first half I had grades of A+ but it went lower. The first half of the year I
pushed myself to do better but at the end of the year it got a little rough since my cousin's death.
I understand the material but sometimes I forget to hand in my work but with determination Ill
get everything done. I have gained much progress and learned new strategies to solve more
complex problems.
Now that its the end of the year I have learned the math is my favorite class. I like to
think through difficult problems and solve them. I also learned that when I set goals for myself I
can finish anything I had my headset on the goals, especially when it comes to my missing work.
This class has made me a changed student since the beginning of the year because, at first I used
to think I knew it at all, but as the class got more difficult I had to become open minded to learn
new ways and strategies to do my work, not only for algebra but for all my other classes as well.
