ANTENNA LINE
Coax Cable Grounding Kit positions

In a tower and equipment room there are 3 coax grounding points with a
optional fourth one:
1.
1

At the highpoint of installed antenna under the antenna to the

closest tower grounding bar (TGB) following a downward path

2.

At the bottom of the tower TGB before the cable turns from
vertical to horizontal.

3.

A lightning arrestor at the MGB at the entry to the shelter (entry

gland MGB)

4
4.

In case of vertical cable length of more than 30meters an

additional coax grounding point is optional to be installed above
the center tower TGB.

5.

Each radio unit will have a separate grounding cable directly to

the closest TGB under it. This can be done directly to the tower
TGB or to a sub TGB next to the antenna mounting.
