Death of Willy Loman
While there were many factors in Willy Lomans death, the main reason he killed himself
was to do the only thing in his power and take his life into his own hands. Willy was lost and
nothing in his life was of his own choosing anymore. Even though he wished he couldve been
an outdoorsman like his brother, his obligation to Linda kept him working in a career that not
only didnt suit him but didnt want him around. He knew his life was only headed downward,
and rather than wait for fate to string him along, he decided to end it by himself.
