ABSTRACT

FACILITATION TO DISCIPLINE OF STUDENTS LEARNING IN VIII
GRADE STUDENTS OF SMP NEGERI 22 SURAKARTA 2013/ 2014. Under
graduate Thesis, Teacher Training and Education Faculty. Sebelas Maret
University Surakarta. Mei 2014.
This research is aimed to find out: (1) discipline of students learning in
VIII grade students of SMP Negeri 22 Surakarta, (2) social of parents facilitation
in VIII grade students of SMP Negeri 22 Surakarta, (3) the contribution of social
of parents facilitation to discipline of students learning in VIII grade students of
SMP Negeri 22 Surakarta 2103/ 2014.
This research is a quantitative descriptive research. The research was
carried out in SMP Negeri 22 Surakarta. The samples of the research were 123
VIII grade students. The data was collected by using discipline of students
learning questionnaire and social of parents facilitation questionnaire.
The result of the analysis using one sample t-test for discipline of students
learning variable shows t count (44,462) > t table (1,66) and for social of parents
facilitation variable shows t count (5,944)> t table (1,66). The result of R square
from simple regression analysis technique is 0,223. This means that social of
parents facilitation variable gives contribution to discipline of students learning
for 22,3%.
The conclusion that can be drawn from the result of data analysis above is
that the discipline of students learning level of VIII grade students in SMP Negeri
22 Surakarta in 2013/ 2014 is categorized as a high and the social of parents
facilitation is categorized as a medium. The contribution of social of parents
facilitation to discipline of students learning in VIII grade students of SMP Negeri
22 Surakarta 2103/ 2014 is 22,3%.
