ABSTRAK

Penelitian ini berjudul Faktor-Faktor Yang Mempengaruhi Hasil Produksi

Kelapa Sawit Pada PT. Perkebunan Nusantara III (Persero) Medan. Tujuan dari
penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis pengaruh luas lahan, tenaga kerja dan
pupuk terhadap hasil produksi kelapa sawit pada PT. Perkebunan Nusantara III
(Persero) Medan.
Data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah data time series (data
berkala) dari tahun 2005-2009 dalam bentuk triwulan. Variabel independennya
adalah luas lahan, tenaga kerja dan pupuk. Variabel dependennya adalah jumlah
produksi. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode Ordinary Least Square (OLS)
yaitu dengan model ekonometrika. Dari hasil regresi, variabel luas lahan dan
tenaga kerja berpengaruh positif dan secara statistik signifikan terhadap hasil
produksi kelapa sawit dan variabel pupuk berpengaruh positif dan secara statistik
tidak signifikan terhadap hasil produksi kelapa sawit.
Hasil uji koefisien determinasi (R2) menunjukkan bahwa variabel hasil
produksi kelapa sawit sebagai variabel mampu dijelaskan oleh variabel-variabel
independen yaitu luas lahan, tenaga kerja dan pupuk sebesar 51,28 % dan sisanya
48.72% dijelaskan oleh variabel-variabel lain di luar model. Pengujian secara
keseluruhan menggunakan uji F dimana F-hitung>F-tabel (5.614951>3.24),
artinya variabel luas lahan, tenaga kerja dan pupuk berpengaruh secara signifikan
terhadap hasil produksi kelapa sawit.

ABSTRACT

This research is entitled Faktor-Faktor Yang Mempengaruhi Hasil

Produksi Kelapa Sawit Pada PT. Perkebunan Nusantara III (Persero) Medan. The
objective of this research is to find out how are the effects of the width of land,
employees and fertilizer towards of palm production in PT. Perkebunan Nusantara
III (Persero) Medan.
Data used for this research is time series data from 2005-2009 in quarterly.
Independent variables are width of land, employees and fertilizer. Dependent
variable in this research is CPO production in PT. Perkebunan Nusantara III
(Persero) Medan. The method used is OLS (Ordinary Least Square) by using
econometric model. The regression result shows that the variables the width of
land, employees has positive effect and is statistically significant towards of palm
production, and the variable of fertilizer usage is positively effective but is not
statistically significant towards the palm production.
The coefficient determining (R2) test result shows that the variables of the
CPO production as dependent variable can be described by the independent
variables, the width of land, employees and fertilizer for 51,28 % and rest is
48.72% described by the other variables out of model. The over all tests use F
where F-sums which F-hitung>F-tabel (5.614951>3.24), means that the variables
the width of land, employees and fertilizer significantly effective towards the CPO
production.
