of Eastern Province of Aceh.
This research was conducted in the form of Analytical survey with cross
sectional design. The sample were 100 householders. Data were analyzed with non
parametric methods of analysis with Chi Square. The value of statistical confidence is
95% and the value of significance () 0,05.
The result of research showed that 87% of the houses didnt use mosquito wire
netting, 91% of the houses in the region of shrubs, 92% of the houses did not use ceiling,

houses had a less bright lighting, 94% of the houses were dump, 65% of the houses were
around the marshes or lagoons and each pH in the swamps and lagoons is 6,0 and 7,0.
The result test of statistic by using Chi Square, known that there was a significant
relationship between the use of wire netting on ventilation, bushes, langit-langit/plafon
house, wall density, humidity and trenches or ditches with the incidence of malaria at the
0, 05 where (p <0.05).
For the Health Agencies required additional public health education about malaria
