Dependent variable_(measure)
the amount of fat
the number of squares covered by fat/oil
Controlled variable_(keep constant)
3 graph paper & 3 wax paper (20cm x 20cm)
The same weight of potato chips (10gr)
rolling time (10)

3 graph papers
1 writter
3 kinds of potato chips ( 1 chipata, 1 Lays, 1 Mr.potato )
1 digital scales
wax paper
rolling pin
tape
Method
1. First, open snacks packaging then put the potato chips on the scale up to 10
grams.
2. Take out the potato chips and put on the middle of the graph paper (20x20)
And put the wax paper on top of the chips and tape the papers on to the table.
3. And break up the potato chips using a rolling pin (10 times ).

6. Data Interpretation
a. Describe the result, referring to the graph? Which potato chips contain the
least fat and which potato chips contain the most fat?
The value has highest fat and Lays has the chitato.
What is the recommended amount of fat a person should take each day? (You need to
research and do not forget to put citation) Perhaps it would maximally 300 fat
b. Would it be fine it person eat 3 packs of potato chips( approximately 100
gram) per day? It would be bad for health take an obese, diabetes, and increase
cholesterol.

7. Validity of the hypothesis

-Compare the results of your experiment with your hypothesis/ prediction. Is your
hypothesis valid or not, explain why?
According to our result of experiment for comparing between hypothesis is explained well
about what we actually have learned.
According to our prediction of hypothesis that we wrote not valid and wrote detail. It is valid,
because our d
8. Validity of the Methods
-What are the strengths and weakness of your methods?

Our group of weakness is not rolling the snacks in same time. We rolled the snacks in
different trial of time and that would be one of our weakness. The strengths of our
group is count exact amount of fat. Three trials for every brand in potato chip. THe
weakness of some part of oil doesnt cover of full of square.
9. Improvements or Extensions
-Provide some improvements of the weaknesses you have stand in point 8.
We need to find the method to measure the exact weight of fat.
