Filming and Photography

Island locations are very popular for personal

and commercial still photography and motion
pictures.
Any film/photography that affects island
operations or involves equipment that is more
than hand-held requires a permit from RIOC.
These requests very often require an expedited
turnaround and usually involve many changes
due to the artistic nature of the request.
