Summary:
The story of Jamal Malik, an 18 year-old
orphan from the slums of Mumbai, who
is about to experience the biggest day of
his life. With the whole nation watching,
he is just one question away from
winning a staggering 20 million rupees
on India's Who Wants To Be A
Millionaire? But when the show breaks
for the night, police arrest him on
suspicion of cheating; how could a street
kid know so much? Desperate to prove
his innocence, Jamal tells the story of his
life in the slum where he and his brother
grew up, of their adventures together on
the road, of vicious encounters with

local gangs, and of Latika, the girl he

loved and lost. Each chapter of his story
reveals the key to the answer to one of
the game show's questions. Each
chapter of Jamal's increasingly layered
story reveals where he learned the
answers to the show's seemingly
impossible quizzes. After he released by
the inspector, the new dawn came and
Jamal must answer the final question.
And in that final question he use his
final lifeline it is Call a friend. But the
number he had is the number of his
brother Salim. But the one who
answered the phone is Latika. After the
talk, he must answered the final
question. And he finally got the correct
answer. And he win a 20 million rupees.
After the show, he quickly find Latika
who is waiting outside. And they follow
their destiny and continue in the future.

Movie Analysis

Slumdog Millionaire
For me this movie was fascinating,
inspiring and, unbelievable. Because
it has a great story about the life
experienced of Jamal Malik, that
became the key on each questions
he answered on a T.V. game show
that lead him to a 20 million rupees
and make a brighter future with his
childhood Latika. So this movie
deserves to win many Grammy
Awards last 2010. So this is my
Movie Analysis.
